I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling (P0711067). I work with individuals, couples and families. My private practice is in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
With over 14 1/2 years experience as a licensed therapist, I currently serve a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of experience are school-age children, teens, individuals, couples, court-mandated clients, and military service members.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, I consult with pastors, business owners, and school counselors.
I am an interactive, reality/solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Education
I have a MSE (Master of Science in Education) in Counseling from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. Henderson's counseling program is a CACREP school. This recognizes HSU as having the highest standards of counselor preparation in America. My BME (Bachlor in Music Educaiton) is also from Henderson.

Completed coursework in 2016 to Supervise new therapists. Sitting for Board interview in 2018 for Supervision approval.
Licensed Profesisonal Counselor through the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. I was initially licensed in April 2003. After completing 3,000 hours of Supervision from 2003-2007 as a Licensed Associate Counselor, I became fully credentialed in November 2007.
Other Areas of Interest
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tammy. She is also available to accompany clients who intially feel uncomfortable visiting with a male therapist. She is a communications therapist and is trained in areas of privacy and confidentiality.
We celebrate our 30th Anniversary this year. Our children, Matt and Megan, are college graduates who assist those dealing with domestic abuse and legal issues related to unemployment.
I enjoy spending time outdoors during the fall and winter seasons of the year.
